Stephen Hove, CFA
Stephen Hove, CFA, has served as an independent director since 2021 and as a member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors since 202. Mr. Hove boasts over 40 years of extensive experience in capital markets and investment management. Since 2013, he has held the role of Managing Director and has been a member of the Investment Committee at Priority Wealth, an independent investment management firm overseeing more than $3 billion in assets under management. Prior to this, Mr. Hove served as Senior Vice President, Investments at Fidelity Investments for a period spanning roughly 32 years. During his tenure at Fidelity, he took on the responsibilities of Portfolio Manager and Group Leader at The Fidelity Management Trust Company, where he expertly managed several equity income and balanced mutual funds. Notable among these were the Fidelity Equity Income Fund (1993-2011), Fidelity Balanced Fund (1996-1997), Fidelity VIP Equity-Income Fund (1997-2011), Fidelity Puritan Fund (2000-2007), Fidelity Advisor Equity-Income Fund (2009-2011), and Fidelity Equity-Income II (2009-2011). His career at Fidelity began as an Equity Analyst. Mr. Hove holds a B.B.A. in Finance and an M.S. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His commitment to the field extends to serving on the Board of the University of Wisconsin Foundation, where he also chairs the Investment Committee. Additionally, he co-chairs the Executive Committee for the Catholic Schools Foundation Inner-City Scholarship Fund, further reflecting his dedication to philanthropy and education. Mr. Hove is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Cassi Zulu, ESQ
Cassi Zulu, Esq., has held the position of independent director since 2021 and has been a member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors since the same year. She is a seasoned attorney with substantial expertise in international contracts and venture negotiations. Throughout her career, Ms. Zulu has effectively represented and engaged in transactions with leading companies, including Credit Suisse, UBS, Apollo Group, Universal Music Group, Sony, Chrysler/Jeep, Stella Artois, Miller Brewing Company, General Motors, McDonald’s, and Verizon, among others. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Economics and Finance, which she received from Loyola University in Chicago between 2013 and 2017, and a J.D. from The John Marshall School of Law.
John Lunga has held the roles of Director, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer since 2012. With a wealth of experience in venture capital and public company chief executive management, he has a notable track record. Mr. Lunga has also contributed his expertise as a board member for various private companies spanning diverse industries, and he has been a sought-after speaker on investment matters, particularly in relation to [specific area]. His educational background is equally impressive, with a double major at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), resulting in the attainment of two Bachelor of Science degrees in 1990. He further expanded his knowledge base by graduating from Harvard Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1995, followed by earning a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School in 1999 with Second-Year Honors. During his time at Harvard Business School, he held the role of Co-President of Venture Capital. Mr. Lunga, originally from Zimbabwe, is fluent in both Shona and English. In addition to his roles with our organization, he also serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Madziwa Gold Corporation and Buchwa Resources Corporation, two companies in which we hold equity positions.
